The official opening ceremony of Bodhikusuma attended by many Bhikkhus and distinguished quests. Amongst them are Mr. Graeme Lyall (President of Australian Buddhist Council), H.E. Kitti Wasinondh (Thai Consul General of Sydney) and most Venerable Chaokhun Phra Vibunsilaporn (Samai Sukhasamiddho - the abbot of Wat Pa Buddharangsee, Leumeah).

A traditional Buddhist ceremony was performed by seven Venerable monks amongst many distinguist guests who participated in the auspicious inauguration ceremony of the centre.
