Māgha Pūjā commemorates the great gathering of 1,500 Savakas, fully enlightened Noble Disciples of the Buddha. The Buddha gave the Ovāda Pātimokkha, a teaching that would annnounce the heart of the Buddha’s teachings to be spread to the many and down for generations.
Join in the Dhamma talk, guided meditation, and followed by the Magha Puja Candle Offering, alms round in the Centre, dana meal offerings and chanting.
